It felt like the first proper day of summer as we headed down to Offaly to visit the home of Tullamore Dew. John Quinn, Global Brand Ambassador and Kevin Piggot, Distillery Manager were our brilliant hosts for our first trip down to see the impressive Tullamore Distillery as well as the visitor centre in the Town itself. What is striking about the distillery is the sheer scale of the operation as well as the attention to detail in every aspect of the building itself.
Tullamore DEW Old Bonded Warehouse Release
A special whiskey we developed to mark the reopening of the Tullamore D.E.W. Visitor Centre in September 2012. This product is triple distilled and triple blended, with a high pot still content. This is an exclusively crafted batch, only available for purchase in the building itself.Rich and warming with some deep, earthy notes and a smooth vanilla oakiness. The taste is sweet with a nice balance of spice and fruitiness. 46% ABV

Tullamore DEW XO Carribean Rum Cask Finish
The original triple distilled, triple blend of pot still, malt and grain Irish whiskey finished in the finest first fill XO rum casks to deliver sweet tropical flavours. Creamy smooth mouthfeel bringing out the deliciously deep caramel and banana notes with hints of dates and raisins.
Tullamore DEW 18 Year Old Single Malt
ex Bourbon casks for up to 18 years and then finished in 4 different cask types being old Oloroso ex-Sherry Butts, Ex-Port Pipes and ex Madeira Drums casks for at least 6 months. Velvety smooth and mellow vanilla oak notes intertwined with cinnamon, baked apple, toasted marshmallows and biscuit sweetness.
